this is somthing a found out the other day. I've been smoking weed for years and never knew about this.
so anyway....i was wicked high and was going to pack my bong. I forgot the slide was out so i acidentally dropped a nug into the bong water. it soaked there for a few hours before i got it out. When I took it out it litterally had little neon green specs all over it that weren't there before. I let it dry out overnight and when i went to smoke it the next morning it was the strongest weed a have ever smoked. I'm not sure if soaking up all the bong water made it stronger or somthing. Let me know if anyone had heard of this before.

p.s....it was dro if that makes a diffrence

It might have been mold or something toxic and that is why it made it feel more potent.

yeah maybe. I don't think so though because we just cleaned out the bong water that morning. Is it possible that it absorbed THC out of the bong water?

It probably just felt stronger because it was more moist.

Well the thing is, it didnt initially feel stronger. It was more just the high was much much stronger than ushual.

Well why don't you do a little experiment...
Take a good sized nug and break it in half... Smoke one half as is and rate how high you get... Drop the other nug into the bong water and let it soak for a few hours, dry over night, then smoke and see if you rate yourself higher than the first half.
Of course this won't be published in any scientific journals but do it just for fun.

Ya good idea gatekeeper, though I'd say get a friend to join you, who if possible doesnt know which was soaked and which wasn't. Or to see if it's mold do it again but don't smoke it watch it and see if it changes or something.

well actually, this happened to me once sorta....i had just smoked and had my baggie of weed by my cup holder in my car and spilt water in it, i dried it out and then smoked it and it was definately stronger than the day before

i dont think there is that much thc in the water for it to "soak up".. especially if you just cleaned it out.. and i would think that water would ruin any kind of thc already in your weed.
