i think the thread starter is just a flamer, cause if he had ever tried a couple punishers out of a 2 foot tornado, he too would be a friend of bongs.

although they do kill your throat and make you cough like hell, they get you far more ripped.

Hey I agree with everyone Bongs are way better I always smoke out of bongs cuz they get you so ripped!!!!!!!

I get Higher when I use a Bong, but I only smoke a bong when I smoke with some friends.

Ive used my great glass bong everyday for almost a year, though i use hash which is somewhat different. I have to say though you maybe right about the THC loss but what about the amount of smoke lost when you smoke a blunt or whateva. Bong HITS! are good as very little smoke is wasted and thus you take in more THC! and you save money. Varies with opinion i guess. and ive seen people drink bong water and each the roach! not nice and i don't reccommend anyone trying it...it ****s you up but is it worth it?

Yeah bongs are the way to especially my mouth doesnt hurt like fuck, like how it feels after using pipes for a while.

Just my $0.02 (Sorry if this is in some other thread) -- I did a bunch of reading to find out if vaporizers were worth all the cash a few weeks back and there are several reports on THC and cannaboid yield by various methods. They all seem to agree that the order for amount of THC extracted per gram of cannabis goes:

1) Pipes
2) Joint
3) Filtered Joint
4) Water-filtered
and Vaporizers as a distant 5th (tested using Volcano on one study, and a BC type Vaporizer on the other -- both came out at less than half the THC of an unfiltered joint)

Also interesting, for THC/tar ratio it goes
1) Vaporizer
2) Unfiltered Joint
3) Filtered Joint / Pipe / Water-Bong

Even so, I decided to spend my cash on a bong instead of a vapourizer. Sure they get marginally less THC per gram, but it's a smoother toke, which means I can smoke more and end up more stoned in the end, better than losing out on all that THC by using a vape.

If anyones interested I can dig through my history to find the reports, you can get to most of them from the MAP & NORML vaporizer studies page on MAP's website.

Dugout and 1 hitter. No waste and if one isn't enough do another and another and another..............

We would save our leaf after harvest back in the day and smoke that in a bong. Seemed to get off on it better and it wasn't so harsh in a bong. We called leaf "No Pot" and smoked it when out of bud. We always said that "No Pot" was better than no pot.
