A Majority Has Spoken: AP Poll Shows Americans Overwhelmingly Support Marijuana Legalization

Smoking past last year’s Gallup poll – in which 58% of America’s law-abiding citizens gave a proverbial nod to the idea of legalizing recreational marijuana consumption  – this new poll conducted by the Associated Press and the University of Chicago shows an elevated 61% of those surveyed agreed, marijuana should be legalized for adults over the age of 21.

If Yes, weed should be legal…

While the majority of those polled agreed that marijuana should be legalized, there were a few important caveats mentioned; 43% believed there should be a limitation on the quantity available for purchase, 24% believed a doctor’s recommendation should be necessary … and 33% felt there should be no restrictions attached.

    Dont smoke any more..but did during a time when i broke my back..used it to get off oxys and other strong pain killers..did the trick ..off everything..use meditation 4 pain control..if it gets bad again..will go 2 a pot in a heartbeat…
