Plenty of 420: Enjoy Your Smoke Sesh with Johnny Tsunami, Gucci Mane, and Wifisfuneral

Disney-induced Couch Lock
If you’ve ventured onto social media on a #ThrowbackThursday (can’t forget #WaybackWednesday or #FlashbackFriday) you know just how nostalgic millennials can be. For the most part, our infatuation with the past gets us beach photos with captions like, “TAKE ME BACK” but this Memorial Day weekend the ThrowWayFlashBack craze finally pays off. Disney Channel is celebrating the release of their 100th original movie by playing back all 99 old ones marathon-style starting on Friday, May 27th. You can also peep the trailer for Disney’s 100th original movie, Adventures In Babysitting,

Usually, when you reach back into time to relive your childhood by watching old movies, you realize they’re not as good as you remember. Luckily, you’ll be so stoned that you might actually think you’re in the year 2000 again. So just for this weekend — suspend disbelief, crack open a Mondo, maybe even crush a few Dunkaroos, and be a kid again.

Yerboi’s Top 5 Disney Channel Original Movies (with their marathon set time because don’t you ever say I don’t look out for you guys)

  1. Brink! (11:20 AM Sunday)
  2. Johnny Tsunami (3:35 AM Monday)
  3. Motocrossed (4:35 PM Sunday)
  4. Smart House (2:55 PM Monday)
  5. The Even Stevens Movie (4:30 PM Saturday)

When Gucci Get Out it’s a Problem
In the event you missed the breaking news yesterday, Gucci Mane was finally let loose from the grips of federal custody. Guwop had been behind bars since February of 2013, and reportedly spent less than an hour on the outside before he hit a recording studio. If you thought Gucci dropped a lot of music from behind bars (he released over 25 stockpiled albums on iTunes since the beginning of his incarceration), wait til you see his output now.

The newly freed Atlanta rapper wasted no time linking up with frequent collaborator Mike-Will Made It for “FIRST DAY OUT THA FEDS,” available to stream below. Judging by some photos of written lyrics Gucci brought out of the clink with him, he was well prepared for this glorious day. A happy first full day out Guwop!

Sunshine State Sensation
Palm Beach, Florida rapper Wifisfuneral has been steadily dropping bangers for the past couple of years, all leading up to today’s release of his proper debut album. Black Heart Revenge is available on iTunes, but can also be streamed on your service of choice. Wifi’s 15-track saga shows you a different side of Florida not often seen in orange juice commercials, especially on standouts like “It Don’t Matter,” “Highway to Hell” and “Lights.” Wifi’s energy is electric, with his anger and love both screaming out through his writing.

Give Black Heart Revenge a listen in full, packed with insane flows from the 19-year old Wifi and haunting production from the likes of Robb Bank$, HenryDaher, and Danny Wolf. If you’re going to pair BHR with some weed, I’d recommend going with an indica-dominant hybrid. You want to be somewhat sedated to immerse yourself in the production, but still have the focus to listen and analyze the lyrics.
