Edible Recipe: Fresh Baked Cannabis-Infused Mini Fruit Pies

Hi! Keira Fae with Weedmaps here with another marijuana filled dessert: Apple Turnovers!

A few years ago I started trying out different recipes using premade dough. I made pizzas, cinnamon rolls, pretzels, but my favorite recipe by far was the Apple Turnover. My affinity to apple pie fueled my love of these tiny, fruit filled pastries. Let’s prep!

  • Premade dough “pie crust”
  • 2 apples (Granny Smith)
  • ¼ cup infused butter
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 egg (optional)

  • Measuring cup
  • Measuring spoons
  • Medium sized bowl
  • Baking sheet

  • Recipe makes six turnovers, each containing 50mg of THC

Step 1: Roll It!

Preheat oven to 350F.

Roll out the premade dough to about ¼’ thick. Using a cookie cutter, or a knife, cut out circles or squares. Set cut dough aside.

Dice the apples into even pieces. Put the diced apples into a medium sized bowl along with the cinnamon and sugar. In a separate smaller bowl, microwave the infused butter for 15 seconds, repeat if necessary.

Pour the melted butter over the apple mixture and mix well. Make sure you mix the infused butter and apples thoroughly to ensure even dosing.

Step 2: Fold It!

Place ¼ cup of the apple mixture in the middle of the cut out pie crusts. Make sure to reserve a bit of the liquid from the apple mixture. We’re going to use the rest of it in a bit.

Fold the dough in half with the apples inside and, using your fingers, press the dough closed around the sides.

Chef’s Tip: To make those turnovers really golden brown and crispy, brush some egg wash on the top and add some sugar.

Step 3: Bake It!

Place the turnovers in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and coat with the leftover apple mixture. Then, top them off with a pinch of sugar.

Let cool for five minutes.

Step 4: Enjoy It!

Voilà! These tasty apple filled masterpieces are ready to be eaten! This recipe is great for get togethers. Add ice cream, whipping, or enjoy with a lovely cup of coffee. You can use any fruit here! I like apple pie personally, but try it with cherries, or pears, or pumpkin!

Dear editors, I’m grateful for the correction, on top of infinite gratitude for documenting the efforts of Ms. Keira Fae—the Canna Chef who so cheerfully shows a whole nation how to reach edible bliss. What a crock how the feds/states/locals have been allowed to suppress such knowledge for aeons. Those days must come to an end everywhere, and fast. As the late cannabis hemp pioneer Emanuel Bronner said: “All-One or none.”
