Edibles Recipe: Frozen Yogurt Bark is Perfect for a Post-Workout Snack

Hi! Keira Fae with Weedmaps here for another devilishly delicious and deceptively easy marijuana-fueled snack: Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark!

So I’ve started going to the gym (ugh, right?) in the mornings (double ugh!) and I found myself struggling more and more to get motivated for my workouts. I felt drained and lifeless as I crawled out of bed. It turns out I wasn’t fueling my body properly for all of the physical exertion I was putting it through. I needed something that would help jump start my mornings and help me recover after a long exercise session. My Solution?

Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark!

  • 2 cups of Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of kosher salt
  • ½ cup of fresh strawberries
  • ⅓ cup of dark chocolate chunks
  • 2 teaspoons of cannabis- infused coconut oil.

  • Measuring cup
  • Measuring spoon
  • Medium sized bowl
  • Parchment paper
  • Rimmed baking sheet
  • Rubber spatula

Step 1: Greek (Yogurt) Mixer

First things first, line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Next, pour 2 cups of Greek yogurt into a medium sized bowl. Combine the yogurt with 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 pinch of salt, and 2 teaspoons of Cannabis- Infused coconut oil.

Stir, stir, stir, stir, stir.

Step 2: Put a Topping on it

Now, carefully pour the yogurt mixture onto the center of the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Slowly spread the yogurt mixture until it covers the entire baking sheet. Mine is spread to about ¼” thick.

This is the fun part: adding the toppings!!!

Cut ½ cup of fresh strawberries into bite-size pieces. Do the same with your 1/3 cup of dark chocolate. Now, top yogurt mixture with strawberries, dark chocolate, and granola, spreading the love to each inch of your yogurt creation.

Lastly, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours or the freezer for 1 to 2 hours. That’s long enough to watch a couple of episodes of Stranger Things….

Remove the baking sheet from the refrigerator and cut or break the bark into manageable pieces, keeping your preferred dosing in mind.

Step 3: Enjoy!

Well, would you look at that? You’re all done! This tasty morning treat is great for providing energy throughout the day while relieving sore muscles. Greek yogurt is an excellent source of protein and acts as great recovery tool. Consuming a relatively small dose of cannabis, 15 mg for our experienced crew, allows you to benefit from the healing properties of the cannabinoids without being too overwhelming to slow down your day. If you’re health-conscious and looking for a cannabis treat, nothing beats this Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark!
